The Icelandic Youth Association holds a youth meet every year. This years meet will be held in the town of Vík, on the south coast of Iceland. It begins on Friday, July 29th and wraps up with a fireworks display on Sunday, July 31st. These youth meets are family friendly, multi-sport events celebrating young people in an wholesome drug and alcohol free environment. The events are centered around sporting competitions for kids from 11 – 18 years old but there is always lots of other fun things to do for the whole family, including games, entertainment and evening gatherings. This years event promises to be fun for all ages so welcome to Vík this weekend.
